Boudegzdame had his moments in the first round when he was able to take Loman’s back but the Champ defended well, was able to escape, and that was basically, the story of the fight.
The Filipino was able to fend off his challenger’s takedown attempts in the duration of the fight, forcing a stand-up battle wherein he had the advantage.
In the 4th round of the scheduled five, Loman connected with an uppercut that sent Boudegzdame down to the canvas, and the Champ finished him off with a follow-up barrage of punches, prompting the referee to step in and award the TKO victory.
In the in-cage interview Loman said “"I would like to dedicate this fight to my family and teammates. But was also to my uncle, who passed away this month. This was for him, definitely", as he was swarmed in the cage celebration by his family, girlfriend, relatives, friends and supporters.
With his recent victory at BRAVE CF 22, Stephen Loman made BRAVE History for most consecutive numbers of successful title defences, winning three in a row.
